Growth

There are moments in everyone's lives when they realize they're not the same person they were a year ago. Or even six months ago.

Sometimes, those thoughts go unnoticed; they flow in and then flow right back out. But I can recall certain points in my life where a thought about my change and growth really became integrated. One of those was a few years ago when I was meeting with my previous business coach.

We were discussing my website and brand (which used to make me roll my eyes!). She looked at me and said something that I've always remembered: "This isn't just your business or your 'brand.' This is you."

She was trying to tell me that I am my business.

For years, decades, really, I've been on this journey of accumulating proof that I belong in this space. More certifications, more modalities, more trainings. I was that student who couldn't get enough, always seeking the next piece of knowledge that would make me "better" at what I do. Family Constellations, The Passion Test, Erotic Blueprints™… I dove into them all with the hunger of someone who believed that one more training would finally make me feel "ready."

But here's what I'm learning: growth isn't always about adding more, more, more. Sometimes it's about recognizing that you already have everything you need. The question isn't "What else do I need to learn?" but "How do I share these gifts with the world?"

That shift is terrifying and exhilarating all at once.

Let's explore that uncomfortable feeling.

From Student to... Something Else

I've worked with thousands of clients over the years. I've held space for profound transformations, witnessed miraculous breakthroughs, and guided people through some of their darkest moments. I know, deep in my bones, that I'm good at what I do.

But there's been this part of me living in the shadows. The entrepreneur. The business builder. The part that needs to step into what is sometimes called "masculine energy." It's that directed, focused energy that says, "I have gifts! And I'm going to get them out there no matter what!" This driven energy is all about planning and marketing and doing the nitty-gritty stuff to build a business (not the most fun tasks!).

For so long, I've been comfortable in the role of perpetual student. There's safety in it. And part of me may have had this belief of "If I just learn enough, become capable enough, then my business will build itself and clients will just appear."

BUT perpetually learning instead of taking action means never fully claiming your expertise. Learning isn't bad (I love learning!) but it can be used as an excuse to hide. In excess, it's a way to avoid standing up and telling the world, "Yes, I know this! I can teach this! I can lead this!"

If you remember one thing from this blog, remember this: our passions evolve as we evolve. What fed me five years ago—that constant accumulation of knowledge—isn't what feeds me now. This is something I work with clients on all the time using The Passion Test. We think our purpose is fixed, that we come to this life with ONE clear "reason for existing," but that's actually BS! Passion and purpose is a living, breathing, changing energy that shifts as we grow throughout life stages.

(Also, we have multiple passions at once, but that's too much to explore in this blog! Learn more about that here.)

My passion isn't about becoming better at what I do (that now happens organically with every client, every session). It's about becoming better at sharing what I do. Embodying the entrepreneur inside me while experimenting, collaborating, and yes, sometimes failing spectacularly as I figure out this whole business thing.

The Magic of Collaboration

This evolution led me to one of the most exciting experiments of my career, and it involves someone very special: Rachel from Sonder Breath.

Rachel came to me as a student several years ago, and watching her journey has made me so proud. She took my facilitator training, but she wasn't just learning techniques; she was discovering a part of herself that was eager to grow. Now she's built a thriving breathwork practice in Montana, helping clients of her own.

When I started dreaming about taking my facilitator training on the road—making it more accessible, more affordable, more community-based—Rachel was the first person I thought of. Not just because she's an incredible facilitator, but because she represents everything I believe about growth: it's not a solo journey.

We're bringing my Breath Is Prayer Facilitator Training to Montana Spring of 2026. While it's the same training I've offered for years in Sedona, it's also a personal experiment for what's possible when we let go of how things "should" be done.

Letting Dreams Evolve

For years, I've held this vision of people coming to Sedona for breathwork training. There's something magical about this place: the red rocks, the vortexes, the people. I love hosting destination retreats here through various retreat centers.

But what I'm learning about being an entrepreneur is that you have to be willing to let your dreams evolve. Not because they're wrong or bad, but because there are other possibilities out there. Staying in my comfort zone is tempting because the familiar is comforting. But growth can only happen when we step into discomfort and let ourselves expand.

When I realized I could partner with facilitators like Rachel in their own communities, everything shifted. Instead of people having to figure out travel costs, accommodation, meals… I could offer the same comprehensive training at a price that's way less. Instead of people coming to Sedona (coming to me), I'm coming to them!

It's me stepping out of the shadows of "I'm just a facilitator" and into "I'm an entrepreneur, a teacher, a collaborator."

What excites me most about this Montana training isn't just that it's happening. It's what it represents.

When Rachel brings this training to Billings, she's not just helping me expand my reach. She's creating opportunity for people in her community who might never have made it to Sedona. She's planting seeds for more breathwork facilitators who will, in turn, plant their own seeds.

This is how healing spreads, not from one person trying to reach everyone, but from many people each reaching their own communities, in their own unique ways.

The training itself is comprehensive. It will be six days in person where participants learn to facilitate individual, group, and online sessions. Following the in person training will be three months of biweekly online mentorship where the deeper integration happens. I've designed it based on everything I wished I'd had when I was starting out, all the shortcuts I had to figure out over 20+ years of practice.

Along with technical skills, what I'm really teaching is permission. Permission to trust yourself. Permission to hold space for others. Permission to step into your purpose, even when you don't feel "ready." (The truth is you never feel completely ready, even after years of experience. So just get out there and take action!)

Your Next Step

As I write this, I'm aware that my story might be stirring something in you. Maybe you're also feeling the pull to evolve, to let go of an old version of yourself, to step into something that feels both exciting and terrifying.

Maybe you're like I was, constantly accumulating knowledge but hesitant to fully claim your expertise.

Or maybe you're sensing that your passions are shifting, that what used to light you up doesn't anymore, and you're not sure what comes next.

Wherever you are on your path, I want you to know: this is growth. The discomfort, the uncertainty, the feeling of being between chapters… It's all part of your beautiful and meaningful journey.

Growth isn't about getting more. It's about becoming more of yourself.

If you're feeling called to explore your own evolving passions, I invite you to book a FREE 15-minute discovery session with me. We can explore The Passion Test together. It's a powerful tool for understanding what truly matters to you right now, in this moment of your journey.

Here's my question for you: What would growth look like in your life right now? What is calling to you (even if it feels radical or makes you nervous)?

Your journey is unique, but you don't have to walk it alone. Whether through The Passion Test, breathwork training, or simply a conversation about what's coming up for you, I'm here.
